January 15, 2009

Greetings everyone.  I was so sorry to hear the weather report this AM, a minus 8 degrees!  Wow!  Then I realized we wouldn't have school.  I would much rather have school everyday.  But, of course I would not want any children to get frostbite walking to school or waiting for the bus.  I believe that the weather is going to improve tomorrow and even be in the fifties next week! Good ol' Missouri weather - constantly changing.
Since we didn't have school today. All before and after school activities are canceled, including Falcons in Flight (the tutoring program) BasketBall practice, and KinderKlub (club for 5 year old preschoolers).
Kudos to the Noyes Sixth Graders. . . . .Your behavior and participation when you went on the field trip to the EmPower Plant was excellent!  Way to Go!  You make us proud!
Also, I need to remind you that tomorrow, January 16th we do have an early out at 1:10, no school Monday, January 19th (Martin Luther King Day), no school Tuesday, January 20th (for staff professional development)  and our Honor Roll Assemblies will be next Friday, January 23, 2009.
